Burning Ridge Golf Club, Myrtle Beach

If you said yes then you will probably enjoy the Burning Ridge golf club in Conway, South Carolina. Burning Ridge is a semi-private course with two, Gene Hamm designed, 18 hole courses. This is one of the best Myrtle Beach golf courses. In 2006 it was voted as both the Myrtle Beach and the South Carolina golf course of the year.

The East course is partial to sand. So watch for the bunkers on this course. With undulations on the greens and the bunkers this course can be a challenge for even the most seasoned golfer. But, with its wide landing areas off the tees and its elevated greens it seems to be the favorite of the two.

The West course has water on nearly every hole. This course has tight, narrow fairways as well as medium sized greens. Don’t think you get away from the bunkers here, there are a fair number of them.

This summer Burning Ridge will be a PGA Family Course. This is a special short course program designed to make the course beginner friendly so kids and parents can golf together.

With reasonable green fees, $41 – $74.50, and a recently renovated clubhouse Burning Ridge is one of the most enjoyable golf courses in Myrtle Beach. There are several Myrtle Beach condos located close by to make planning your trip easier.
