Pawleys Island Festival of Music and Art

Pawleys Island Festival of Music and Art welcome its 18th season in sunny South Carolina!  You won’t want to miss the great entertainment and delicious food at this extravaganza!

  • Come to the festival on September 12th at 7 p.m. and enjoy the well known Sam Bush labeled as the “King of Newgrass” by his fans.  He will be doing a live performance on that date that will sweep you off your feet.
  • On September 13th at 7 p.m. you won’t want to miss the group, Barrage.  Theirs is a mix of music which includes bluesy rhythm, fiddling, and more.  They have been known to get the crowd into action by their requests for participation that can only lead to one thing and that is plenty of fun and excitement.
  • On September 14th at 3 p.m. you will hear the very popular Hallelujah Singers, as well as the chorus from Waccamaw High School.  They will give an awesome performance.
  • On September 19th at 7 p.m. come and enjoy the spectacular show of Dr. Phillip Powell as well as others.  They will perform Chamber Music.  Dr. Phillip Powell is a professor at a Caroling University and offers a top-notch show.
  • On September 21st at 3 p.m. the Litchfield Dance Children’s’ Theatre will delight your eyes with a unique children’s performance by some amazing kids.
  • On September 27th at 7 p.m. you will enjoy the Long Bay Symphony under the moonlight as director Dr. Charles Evans leads the way.
  • On October 4th at 7 p.m. we will be calling all wine lovers to the Pawleys Wine Festival.  Come and taste the delicious food and enjoy the various wines.

Most of the above events will take place in Brookgreen Gardens.  If you are in need of lodging condos are available throughout the Myrtle Beach area.  Myrtle Beach condos are comfortable and affordable.  The pleasure of staying in a condo rental in Myrtle Beach can offer you a much needed place to tuck away and relax during your festival stay.
